Spring is one of my favorite seasons, for so many reasons! I love the flowers, the comfortable temperatures, the sun shine and especially the fruits that begin to bloom. Our family loves to spend time outside during the spring, we especially like to visit the local farms and to pick strawberries this time of year
The strawberry season starts around mid-April in the upstate. The weather is warming up but not so hot that you can’t stand to be outside for a few hours ( like mid-July)! There are several farms throughout the area that allow families to pick their own strawberries and/or purchase containers of pre-pick strawberries.
Today, we’re sharing our favorite spots for you to take the kids for a fun-filled day of berry picking or just stopping by for a quick pick up!
